Now that #WAOMAHA exists, which solid SEC program is in a serious drought?

Georgia Football comes to mind. Like Ole Miss Baseball under Bianco, thave been relevant under Richt but never good enough to make a national title run and be elite (beating Hawaii in a meaningless Sugar Bowl doesn't count).

That's not a solid program.

His idea is that Ole Miss has been good, just not good enough.

I agree that UGA has been in a long sustained solid state but never good enough to make a serious run.

AU in basketball and baseball. I mean, we were ranked no 1 in basketball within the last 15 years. And in baseball, we had a good run the the 90s.

Tennessee football hasn't been to a BCS game or won the SEC in 15 years.

But you haven't even been a contender throughout those 15 years. Wrong answer.

Yea except for the fact that we nearly played for another national title in 2001 and lost close games late in the 04 and 07 SECC games. 2003 and 2006 UT were also serious "contenders" those years too.

This is surprising to me as well. Tennessee is a sleeping giant.

Uh... what? They won the East 6 years ago and if LSU hadn't upset them in 01 they are probably national champions. With the exception of Fulmer's last year, the Kiffin and Dooley eras, they have been competitive.

On top of the leader board for tournament appearances without a final four.

But making it to Omaha is more like making it to the sweet16 or Gator Bowl, nice for the fans, but no one else cares.

And more "BCS" Bowl games.
