Yep. Congrats Auburn. Gibson is gonna be a stud imo.
Eta- This must be pretty awkward for Gibson considering he's still on his visit to Tennessee.

Why is he a 4* on 247 but a 2* on Rivals? That all because he was hurt last year?

Rivals gives any player a 2* if they haven't been evaluated yet. He's been blowing up in the last month so I'm sure he'll get bumped up.

I think he fits the Vols a lot better than Gibson.
As much of an athlete Gibson is, I don't think Butch wanted someone that raw in the passing game.

Dormady is a better QB prospect than Gibson but other big time prospects in this class seem to have preferred Gibson based on their reactions on twitter.

I think Ainge screwed up his big moment. Had he not said anything it wouldn't have made his commitment seem like a let down.

Yep. Congrats to the Vols on the pickup, should be a much better fit as a QB than Gibson.
Gibson just seems like a WR at the next level, even if he winds up with us.

I've said a few times that guys like Zach Collaros and Brendon Kay are great examples of QBs that can succeed in this offense. Intelligent guys with big arms that can sling it first and pick up yards with their feet on set plays or scrambles if needed. I think that's what the staff sees with Dormady. He's not gonna burn anybody for 40 yards but has the ability to pick up the first down with his feet.

So much fail in this post. Alabama is apparently going to receive a commitment from QB Travis Waller tomorrow.
He's the #36 player overall on 247 and #79 in the Composite.

Gibson needs to go to AU. TN dodged a bullet unless they were moving him to WR.
