ours wasn't between the fairgrounds and the ghetto. right smack in the river's flood plain, which in cities around the world is the cheapest real estate available.

also there's a ban thread on the help board now. so if anyone wants to rid the rant of this tard, I suggest they go voice that opinion in the proper arena.

then we followed it up by building the perfect college baseball stadium. it's beautiful. and right smack in the fool plain of the river, but upstream in the redneck area, by the railroad and the old warehouses needed around a railroad.

Why ban? I'm enjoying the spectacle of Coot on Coot crime.

Eh. Not really. Look at Clemson and Mizzou, they both have stadiums on campus but we own them. Stadium location doesn't have much to do with success of a program.

It's not too bad. At least not as bad as having a building on campus named after a guy who participated in the lynchings and murders of multiple people.

It certainly isn't good. A friend of mine went to UCLA, They play in arguably the most iconic stadium in college football, and most students hate it because LA traffic is approximately the Devil.

but that might be more about the traffic. As long as you can effectively move from the place where you can drink to the place you want to be drunk without risking arrest or prekickoff sobriety, I think off campus is ok. on campus is always gonna be better unless your school doesn't let you drink on campus...

i guess our good defensive recruits feel right at home in the ghetto. so actually it might help.

Yes but have to give props for what they have been doing around the stadium. I would imagine with a couple of more years out of Spurrier that the improvements will continue in and around the stadium. They have really made the very best out of the situation and their students and fans have no problem with it.

I didn't know USCjr's stadium was off campus and in a flood plain ghetto.

Now I'm certain that you're going to crumble when Ball Coach leaves.

Am I dreaming?

You couldn't have said it any better.

You guys are growing on me. And it probably helps that we have worked with Moore professor with a couple of recent hires.

The way I see it, if you can't bring the stadium to campus, bring the campus to the stadium. Look for USC to start (if not already) buying up property around it and building some dorms/classrooms in the area.
