Do any other SEC fans have videos with some great calls like this? It's a long watch, 40 minutes worth, but it has some very meaningful plays during his time at Auburn. It gives me chills. I would also be interested to see a film of some great plays from other SEC teams.

No fricking way I am watching that. I know there will be lots of UF games in there.

Any calls involving us?

AU's pbp is the only announcing team more homerific and terrible than Eli.
That's not a very good thing.

Scott Howard and the UGA broadcast team accept your challenge.

What the hell? Bramlett is actually pretty good IMO. The worst ones I've ever heard are LSU's when I had to listen to that multiple over time game they had against Arkansas several years back when I was driving back from deer hunting

:kige:
I've listened to both before and they're bad.

Bramlett is great IMO. The rest of the SEC's..not so much.

Eli is pretty objective when it comes to pbp. Auburn's guy on the other hand is an absolute psycho. He is by far the worst I've ever seen and it's not even close.
Not saying he's not a great announcer, just saying he is indeed a raging homer. Which in my opinion you really should be if you are a pbp announcer but still.

You're not fooling anyone here. Eli is as homer as they come.

OK curiosity got the better of me and it was pretty good stuff. Only the last 10 years so only 2 Florida highlights.

Bramlett is a HUGE homer, but one of the best announcers in the sec. He is really good, just a massive homer. The two are not mutually exclusive.
Eli isn't that good, but he is pretty objective. More than most anyway.
Bama's color guy is good also.
I should qualify my statement by saying the replay of 34-28 is the only radio broadcast I've heard for a bama game in a decade, but that was my impression.

There's a board for this crap.

Jim Fyffe was the best in the business. Now Auburn has to deal with mediocre pbp

Oh you're talking about the fact that he's openly pulling for Auburn and is in no way objective? Yeah that's 100% the case, but I'm also a raging homer so it doesn't bother me
