Name guys that were greats/ really good at your school and subsequently were looked over by the NFL come draft time and never really did anything in the league either
Talking about guys who were college greats with no chance in the NFL. Guys that were drafted late but ended up good or great NFL players are not good examples
Good Examples:
Connor Shaw- Undrafted -> Most accomplished QB ever at USCe
Barrett Jones - top OL for years and later RD pick
Junior Rosegreen- All SEC and some AA honors went Undrafted
Bad Examples-
Arian Foster- drafted late became stud
Geno Atkins- late rd pick now pro bowl

I know what you're trying to accomplish in this thread

Actually I have nothing but interest. I find how super intelligent /skilled players at one level don't meet talent/athleticism requirements of the next fascinating.
Now I am curious what you think my intentions are

So, guys that were great in college but either flamed out, disappeared, or left prematurely from the NFL?
David Greene
David Pollack
Odell Thurman
But if you mean just guys who were great in college and went 7th round or later in the draft, then:
DJ Shockley

No, guys that were great in college, and subsequently looked over by NFL scouts...

Yet to play a single NFL season

250 yds his first NFL season
Would you have considered Foster a "good example" after his rookie year?
Jones has been in NFL one year, Conner has not yet to taken a snap.

DJ Williams. All SEC and Mackey award winner. Drafted in the 5th round and has been a journeyman for 4 years. 70 career yards.

Then DJ Shockley is the only one I can think of off the top of my head. Maybe Jeff Owens as well.

I'll name another, Andre Woodson. Quarterback from Kentucky.

Kent Hull and Steve Freeman come to mind

Lee Ziemba always stood out to me. Guy won a number of honors only to be a 7th rd draft pick

Brannan Southerland
Maybe a little weak, but Shockley was taken.
