I'd consider getting beat by georgia southern to be the worst form of torture.

Even Georgia Tech has won something since they last did.

Their split national title they shared with Colorado in 1990?

Not even legit.

I can't really argue with that.

I would also put Dec 12-Nov 13 as the most torturous 12-month period ever endured by a college football fanbase

If torture is what I experienced in Athens over the last 8 years, then I hope I'm tortured permanently in the afterlife.

Definitely the leghumpers No.1.

However, TAMU hasnt done squat either. Consider the talent they have had in the last 3-4 years alone. Multiple top offensive Line draft picks. A heisman trophy and superior NFL caliber WR's. Yet no real success.

How is the Ole Miss fan base not tortured?

They haven't won an SEC title since Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated JFK.

As a GT guy I absolutely refuse to feel sorry for UGA.

You raise a good point. GT is probably more tortured, seeing as their program's self-esteem is almost totally dependent on being able to beat UGA.

We're only slightly tortured and at the same time tortured only because we do our best to adhere to the rules while others around us are such blatant cheating scum.

You just listed the three cleanest programs in the conference, of all the programs with high expectations. We're the saints of the SEC for the most part. We endeavor to compete and achieve at higher levels while still maintaining our honor and integrity along with some semblance of ethical behavior.

We also sport the finest fans, the best looking women and the most masculine, patriotic, men in the conference ... well, maybe Arkansas doesn't fall into any of these last descriptors but still, they are tFlagship so ...

Torture is relative in this case. I see Bama fans as being far more tortured because they are only happy for very brief periods of time and they have to sell their souls, their tortured souls, to get those brief little highs. And LSU fans, good gosh, so close ... so close, and then, even in the years where they fall short of Championships they have to deal with losses such as the one suffered in the Chick-fil-A bowl to the taterheads ... THAT's torture! Florida ... Urbie, Muschamp ... if that's not torture I don't know what is. I feel for them, they deserved neither - not Urbie's bullshite or Muschamp's antic. Tennessee ... can you imagine the torture they've been enduring these past five or six years? It's inhumane! Well ... it's more of a karma kickback but it's still their own personal hellacious torture I would suppose.
