He's a guy LSU was interested in, possible camp take at Safety IMO.

I think it's a good decision if Campbell wants to stay at QB. He should ball out in that offense.

Can't imagine that offense will be there through most of his college career.

Disappointing as a Tiger fan, was hoping he would end up in BR. But proud as hell of our hometown kid. No matter where he ends up I will always support my fellow Greenies.

Can't knock a kid for going to a school like GT on a full-ride. Ball out, dude.

Absolutely. For Christian's sake I hope PJ makes it through his 4 years.

I agree! And honestly, I don't think that LSU was going to offer. Congrats to him and his family!

Unless what I am hearing is wrong and I doubt it is based who is telling me. The reports of him committing because he wants to stay at QB is probably wrong. Of course GT could have convinced him otherwise. I doubt seriously his recruitment is over. He has 2more visits this summer and LSU is the last one and is high on him. This is far from over. Selfishly I want to see a Ponchy boy wearing the purple and gold again. Either way though I will always support a fellow Greenie. Hey a guy can do alot worse than a Georgia Tech education.

Why would he commit there other than he QB's the same offense under one of the smartest coaches to run it? Just curious.
I talked to coach HT today but did not ask him about it

It was on the lsurb and does fit there, but for some reason any thread started there that mentions a kid committing somewhere other than lsu gets moved here.

I don't know why and don't like it.

No idea, jus repeating what I was told by someone who would know. Maybe Paul Johnson convinced him he could play QB at the next level. If he can it anywhere it would be GT.

Well I posted it on the LSU RB first, not sure why they moved it...it's directly relevant to LSU recruiting. Zero sour grapes anywhere in the thread either.

Follow up on this. I got it straight from someone that would definitely know. CC doesn't want to play QB in college. So all the talk about him going to GT because that's what he wants in bullshite. He accepted GT's offer because it was just that impressive. They sold him on the school, which isn't a hard sell IMO. Good for him, Geaux Waves, Go Jackets!!!!
