Just hoping I can let it stay really low and slow. I like to keep it around 195 or so until the internal temp is in the 160s then I bump up the temp to 250 or so. But I'm gonna head out to watch the game tomorrow with some friends so I may have to kick up the temp in the morning earlier than I'd like. Not the worst problem to have though

How much does it weigh and how long is it cooking? How do you serve it?

This one is 7.5 lbs. It'll probably end up cooking for 17 hours or so. I just end up pulling it and eating it like that.

I've started using pulled pork with breakfast too, sunny side up eggs over pulled pork are really good. Also do the usual like pulled pork sandwiches, etc.

That looks delicious!

I just wondered if you pulled it, chopped it or sliced it. I used to chop all of mine until I figured out how to cook it. Now we pull it every time.

This is my sirloin roast and the tri-tip that was cut off of it. Gonna smoke the big one for 2 hours then wrap in foil until she reaches about 135 internal temp. The tri will smoke about an hour then get wrapped until I get the same temp. If it works like the last one, I will shred it like pork for french dip sandwiches.

Yea I always end up pulling it because it's just so good and falls apart so easy.

Damn those look like they're gonna be great!

Pulled is definitely better. I used to cook butts to fast which made them tough. Had to chop it to eat it.

First time doing this sirloin roast. I post pics of the finished product after we whip some gator arse!

Are you using any kind of temp controller through the night? I have a large BGE also and have done about 10 overnight cooks but I set the alarm every couple of hours to keep a check on the temp. With a temp controller I would do a lot more overer nighters! Pulled pork is great all week long.

I'm replacing my gasket this week with the RRP stuff. Starting to loose too much air around the top and daisy wheel.

Food looks good though!

I don't have a temp controller but I have one of the wireless monitors. I just set it to alert me if grill temp goes over 230 or under 190. Sucks if it alerts me during the night but it's better than losing a good one.

Yea I really need to replace my gasket. It's basically non-existent. Haven't looked into options but will check out the RRP stuff.

Good stuff. The deer starting to move down there? The temp is about to drop pretty good up here starting Sunday.
