I have an Aggie coworker who uses this term. What does it mean, and what is the origin?

A play off the hookem horns symbol

It involves pinky out as if one was drinking Tea

It is a silly term created by an obviously spurned little brother.

Tea-sipper – n. a student of the University of Texas at Austin.

Our Aggie boys were at war, while the horns were home sipping tea. Not so much of a stretch when you look at the football records during those years. Those war years were when the series became so one-sided.

It's a derogatory term for longhorns. The origin was the notion that while Aggies were off fighting wars, the horns were at home sipping tea.

It would have been much more effective if you came up with an obscure reference for fricking steers.

Confession: Down here in Texas, we're not into relations with animals, despite what y'all's urban legend concoctors have told you.

Crazy, huh?

I don't personally have an issue with many steers.

That's not an Aggie.

The war isn't being blamed; the numbers of players who could be fielded on one team vs the numbers who could be fielded for the other team was the issue.

It's just the way it was.

We wish things had been different, but our players/cadets wouldn't have had it any other way. They had a job to do at the time, and football wasn't it.

Not concerned at all about the overall record. Time has equalized us, and we'll make some headway into that overall record in no-time flat.

Probably not, since y'all don't play.

That's just the statistician in me talking though.
