Thanks for the link. I took from that article that we pay our coaches extremely well.

We paid Chizik and Barbee pretty well, too.

So in summery for the assistants:

JB Grimes got the biggest raise of $100k, 270k to 370k
Craig went from $350 to 500k
EJ went from $800k to 850k
Garner is $500k to 550k
Harbison went from $425 to 475k
Melvin Smith got a 25k raise from $300k to 325k
Fountain and Horton went from $250k to 325k
Ryan Russell went from 215k to 285k

The one I am impressed with was Grimes getting a huge bump. That is what happens when you have talent and a coach to put it together on the same page as the rest of the offense. As long as he puts kids in the NFL, he will continue to get some bumps along the way to keep him around.

I think JB should make as much as any assistant.

He will and he is a long term assistant too. He has been around to a lot of teams, if he likes the Auburn area I don't see him leaving as long as he is welcome. I don't think he has aspirations of moving up to coordinator or HC.

Pearl also gets eight tickets and two parking passes for each Auburn home football game, among other perks

Make 2.5 mil or whatever yet ESpn brings up tickets that arguably are worth 50k/year max.

Incorrect. Grimes went from 270k -> 370k which is a 100k raise.

Article words it weird and it isn't consistent with how the author outlined the other raises. Easy to make that mistake. I had to read it twice

OK, I worded it weirdly too. That is what I meant and it was also inconsistent with how I worded the others lol. Changed it to show it though.

Grimes got the biggest non OC/DC raise if you count DCraig as an OC. That is what kind of alerted me to how you worded it. It really is the article's fault. Weird as shite how they jumped back in forth in style between coaches.
