I used to until my work schedule changed. My only beef with Crossfit is doing compound lifts (Clean--and-Jerks, Snatches, etc.) under extreme fatigue. I still do Crossfit-type workouts on my own, I just do the Olympic lifts first, then go into the push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, etc.

Clearly none. If they did, you'd know it by the daily posts about the beastly WOD they did that morning.

Yes. This is the truth. Olympic lifts aren't meant to be performed for time or max reps. It's a sure fire recipe for injury.

Olympic lifts are about form and most crossfitters iv've seen have a lack of that

I do.

And I can't lie that I get incredibly irritated by the ridiculous misconceptions (to be fair, some of them have been earned).

I have a lot to say about cross fit, but don't have the time right now.

I've gone through different phases, after I was done playing I got right into SealFit.

Did that for a couple years, went down to regular Crossfit, now I'm down to a slowed down (at times) modified Crossfit.

-I'll say I'm not in a cult, I do it from home.
-I've never done a pull up like the gifs that always get shown.
-I spend $0 a month to do it.

This isn't true.

I'll respond later.

I don't but mainly because I just do my own thing and it works for me.

Then I won't add you to the ignore list.

Bc workout thread, I'll say I can't recommend the TRX enough.

If you own one thing (besides a squat rack), own a TRX.

It's cheap, mobile, takes up zero space and is incredibly functional.

I do crossfit style.

No humping arse pull ups though and I lift (Squats, bench, clean, snatch) before I workout. I mostly do body weight workouts and I try to limit the number of high rep olympic movements

I try to do my lifting days 2-3 times a week (deads, squats, incline bench, military, weighted pull-ups with some chest and arm accessory work). Then I usually do some kettlebell and interval work 2 days a week, often using Pat Flynn's kettlebell complexes as a base.

And if you've never watched the Broscience crossfit vid, do so now.
