Yeah, Juneau is one of the largest cities in the world, in area. Roughly 40% of that is glacial ice. There are over 30 glaciers within the city limits.

Southeast is much different than the most of the State. Its my favorite by far. Juneau has over 8,500 ft of elevation change, and has both ocean and mountains. We moved for the summer to Auke Bay, may make it permanent.
The University is located on the lake adjacent to the bay. This is about 10 miles from downtown. We have a condo on the bay by the harbor/marina.
Took this about an hour ago.
