He just visited SC this weekend and said he was done with visits but then has turned around and visted VT yesterday and is on TN's campus today.

What is the word out there.

They aren't pursuing as hard as the others though, trying to keep spots open for higher rated players I would guess.

Seems like with the news that he is visiting TN today that we are back in the thick of it.

Is SC or VT the favorite besides TN?

He's talking a/b UT, dummy. So, yeah, guess it is pretty typical.

USC wants him and needs OTs. I don't see it as a positive sign that he took extra visits, though.

I thought I read where some schools were backing off of him as a Tackle?

I think Clark would make a very good Guard prospect though.

I agree. Richmond and Jones at Tackle with Stewart and Clark at Guard would be an outstanding OL haul.

Not sure if this matters or kids just having fun but FWIW.

Edit: Not for Clark per say but related to the conversation about him and Richmond

Is that what the SC writers are thinking here?

Our Rivals site thinks USC. Also said Vols Rivals site thinks he's leaning USC.

I think he wants to be at UT, but may choose us b/c we are recruiting him as an OT. I'd still put my $ on Vols, all things considered.

I'm starting to think it's gonna be South Carolina. This one is very hard to tell though.

Four-star offensive tackle Austin Clark (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) will make a commitment at 6 p.m. Thursday on WSLS in Roanoke, Va. While Tennessee has been considered the team to beat (and Ohio State rounds out the top four) during the course of his recruitment, he's expected to pick either Virginia Tech or South Carolina (the Vols may not have the space). I changed my Crystal Ball prediction for Clark from the Gamecocks to the Hokies this morning. This is not an overly-confident pick and is based on family connections to Virginia Tech and proximity to home. Clark visited South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia Tech in recent weeks.
