Ah he had previously committed to State at one point, then decommitted not long after. I bet he ends up at LSU. If not, congrats on the pickup.

He won't end up at lsu. I think he was turned off by our coaches wanting to evaluate him again after he sat out all of last season.

Could be a great steal considering he has 2 played 2 years of High School ball and still got crazy good offers. Has dominated camp circuit apparently.

He's more of a 3-4 NT than 4-3 DT so he'll fit in much better at Bama. Kid is like 320-ish. Our coaches wanted to see him in camp before he would get a committable offer but I dont see an offer coming, just doesnt fit in well with our scheme.

He is. 20th DT on the composite, iirc. In a strong DT class, that's definitely good.

Bama can have him. He isn't as good as advertised. Seen him at camp. Wasn't even close to dominating. Isn't even the best DL in LA. Good luck.

LSU fans on this board have said this exact thing about EVERY recruit Alabama has gotten out of Louisiana.

I meant undersized by the standards of Alabama DT's. He's closer to 6' than 6'2

Tbh he looked very average at the NFTC in texas too. Can't remember if it was Dallas/houston but I remember it wasn't super impressive. I think he will be decent though, just wasn't as impressed as I thought id be.

I still remember when they were claiming C-Rob was incredibly overrated.
