A team like Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, or Florida, the media would be having a shite storm heading into this season about how great Maty Mauk is going to be.
The dude has an amazing arm with just as good of legs. He is getting no talk right now with the media, which is horse shite but it will be fixed asap once the season is in full swing.

I dont disagree with you, but its not like people arent talking about him. Hutson Mason's numbers are better and no one is talking about him.

You are right about that. I like seeing them put on a pedestal though. The fall is glorious. (except when shots are fired. There is no place for that)
I only saw Mauk in one game last year. He was very impressive. I think yinz have a good 'en.

Mauk looked to be a good QB but ???? How can you honestly think he deserves more hype than Marshall or even Dak as far as SEC returning QBs?

Jacob Coker has done nothing, but he is getting a ton of love. Same with RB Henry.
Maty Mauk is the real deal. His % was down because he throws a ton of deep balls, but had only 2 picks with 11 td's.

Maybe cause he was on the 5th best team in the country and beat teams impressively when he was in. Made big throws. Only blemish was the crazy comeback that SC had, but I give fault to the defense for letting screen pass after screen pass kill us.

I think he's gonna be ok but a lil to early to annoint him the greatest..

Apples and oranges. Mauk was a RSF last year while Mason's been around for 3-4 years.

Maty has got something alot of young QB's don't have-heart. He'll never quit and you get 100% on every play. He's tough.

With our RB's, TE's and developing OLine, the addition of Mauk to the Arkansas offense would make us downright nasty.
I'd steal him for Arkansas in a heartbeat.

Sure, the statistics may not be there, but if you watch film on the dude you will see that he is the total package.
He is a winner. Plain and simple.
Against Florida, he killed them with his legs just as much as his arms. The Gator fans that watched that game know of how many shots down field he took against a very tough Florida Secondary.

UF has a good one. He also has the most experience. That doesn't mean Mauk is a slouch though.
