I hope he maintains it. He looked bigger last season than he did here. Got too big. 225 still seems to be a few pounds to big, but if he gets his burst back, it doesn't matter.

It says he lost 15 pounds too, so he was at 240...

quote:

Richardson, who is trying to bounce-back from a disappointing first season with the Colts, was limited in running, which is why he put on some unnecessary weight. He recently dropped 15 pounds and is down to his ideal playing weight of 225 pounds. He said he weighed around 230 pounds last season.

It said he lost about 15. I know it goes on to say something about 230, though.

He looked more like 240.

Kids a stud. He passed all the eye tests in college. He can def be good in the pro's. This seems like a step in the right direction. Also needs to clean up his social life.

If he ever goes to a team with a zone blocking scheme, he will excel.

All of Alabamas backs will have trouble in the NFL running behind powerblocking man schemes.

GB runs the same scheme as Bama which is why Lacy has done so well.

The article says he played last year at 230. Had off-season should surgery which limited his ability to work out so he ballooned up to 240. Now he's lost 15 lbs to get down to 225.
