I still have my money on Superman to pull it out against the best defense to ever play the game. He's just that damn good.

Game would be played in the Superdome

We will never know. It would be a great game, though.

I'm sure I won't surprise anyone with this response, but both 2011 Alabama and 2011 LSU would beat 2010 auburn, and the point differential would be double digits.

I'm going with Alabama 2011. I think LSU 2011 could have beaten Auburn 2010, but both were a great teams.

Games won by a TD or less by auburn 2010: SIX
Games won by a TD or less by 2011 Bama/2011 LSU (not counting the two contests against each other): ZERO.

Laugh it up, but I'm right.

We're measuring a hypothetical game by close wins?

I'll raise you one and measure it by total wins. Auburn 14, Alabama and LSU 13.

You weren't that good in 2010. You just weren't. Six teams were within a play of beating you. If you had played a team on the level of 2011 Bama or LSU, you would have gotten handled.

I have no doubt that this doesn't compute with your aubie sensibilities, but that's your issue, not mine.

The crystal ball located in Auburn, AL argues otherwise.

Are you trolling?

How about comparing the South Carolina game at the beginning of the season to the South Carolina game at the end?

What sort of inferences can be made from an analysis of those specific data points?

Going undefeated proves your point.

That statement isn't good enough for the Auburn trolls that think Alabama was "lucky" to have success under Nick Saban.

auburn won, therefore college football was down.

That's how this plays out. Hopefully this saved us a page of tapdancing around.

I hope nobody tries to argue that Alabama's success was luck.
