Planning a special day for a lady friend in Atlanta - seeking advice/suggestions

My knowledge of Atlanta is Braves, Six Flags, shitty traffic and many hours in the airport bars.
I'm taking a lady friend there Saturday to just hang out. No real plans. I would like to try out the Sweetwater Brewery but other than that I have no idea.
Those that live there, what do you suggest?

What type of stuff do you want to do?

I'm really open for anything. What are some of your favorite places?

If its an all day event, and lady friend type deal. I'd hit up the botanical gardens and the park during the day, with a meal and drinks at one of the restaurants around the park. You can rent bikes as well. Then head over to Decatur and bar hop and restaurant hop. Skip sweetwater.

Meh, it's aight.
You can get more beer fun at other places and for a date day type thing, its a waste.

I don't know what most females like so I don't have much advice.
Like NYC said, the Botanical Gardens and Piedmont Park are right there together. A lot of decent restaurants in the area. Good shopping not far away.

Are you staying in town for the night? If so, where?

All kinds of stuff to do.
The Aquarium
Piedmont Park
Atlantic Station
Oakland Cemetery (ghost tour)
Hike in Sweetwater State Park (not the brewery)
Sweetwater Brewery
The Atlanta Zoo
Fernbank Museum
High Museum of Art
Swann House
Stone Mountain
You can bar hop in Buckhead but if you're in you 30s or older you might want to hit Virginia Highlands or Decatur instead.

Day at Stone Mountain. Night at Buckhead. Drinks at one spot, appetizer at another and dinner destination ATL Fish Market.

Not sure what she's into, but when I lived in bham I took my gf at the time on an all day thing in Atlanta.
First we went to lunch at place we had gone before that I knew she's like. From there we went to the High Museum and toured that for a few hours, then after that hit up the Atlanta Zoo. Definitely won some points that day.
I've never been to Sweetwater, but Red Brick Brewery is pretty cool and I have to imagine it's not near as big and crowded as Sweetwater. They give tours every hour or so, have some pretty sweet house beers, and have a big parking lot outside with cornhole and stuff set up.
