Another step closer to singularity.

I think solar and wind finally makes a huge leap forward in the coming years. The amount of wind energy in Texas is baffling. I do a lot of traveling for my job, but I see turbine wings being shipped out to West Texas all the time. Although not anything new, I think Texas getting behind it the way it has is really a game changer. Solar technology is really expensive, but I think it'll get there as well.

I didn't realize how many turbines were in Iowa until I drove through on my way to/from Minnesota.

I-70 through Kansas is out of control. There's one stretch in the western part that is just turbines as far as the eye can see in every direction for a few miles. It's nuts

They need to be puttin dem turbines under water.
Or tapping into the limitless free energy that is being suppressed. Oops, said too much.

Like west of Salina I think. I dunno I was driving to Denver. I stopped in Salina and when we went by all the turbines there were no towns nearby. Like nothing, reminded me of West Texas further north

All those flyover states need to be corn fields, turbines, and nuclear power plants.

Cool. I only asked because that's one of two things I've wanted to see since moving here, fields full of windmills and Dodge City. Farthest West I've roamed on I-70 is Ellsworth and I only saw a few turbines there. I must need to go a little further west.

Oklahoma panhandle has lots of turbines, too.
I had not heard of ag-drones until this thread.
Nice.
