Yes though this year, like 2011, is critical to continuing it.

Why yes it is. Fourteen straight winning seasons, fourteen straight bowl games, 10 win average season for fourteen straight seasons, and the winningest program in college football in the last decade. No team has done all of the above, none.

Oh, except one. Plus we are 2-0 in our last two games.....

Of course. The dynasty doesnt end until you dont win the title 2 years in a row.

Better than losing in historic fashion (to your rival, no less ) on a play that will be shown for decades to come and getting embarrassed by Chokelahoma.

Whatever makes you feel better about your performance against Alabama this year.

If Bama happens to win the national championship this year, that'll be 4 titles in 6 years and it'll be viewed as a continuation of a dynasty. If not, dynasty over.

So if Bama won say 10 games this year and then won a championship next year, 4 titles in 7 years wouldn't be a dynasty?

Yes, it would be.

Bama could take 3 years off of winning championships and win another one and it would still be considered a dynasty because of 4 championships in 8 years or something.

In college football, that counts, as long as Bama was in the hunt those 3 years in between titles.

Alabama is a dynasty and will be one as long as Bama is still in the hunt.

We will know when it is over, just like we knew when USC was done.

The dynasty is still going...based pretty much on what everyone not named Metry posted.

If we put together another good year and then win even just an sec championship in 2015, I would say it is still going strong.
