Has anything like this ever happened in the Landmass? We have a tough regional to get out of but... What if..

Discuss.

Have two rivals ever played in a SR?

Quite often, actually.

Both of us have our hands full with 2 VERY good teams in our respective regionals.

We have UL-Laffy and a very solid 42 win San Diego State team to worry about first. I do think OM wins their regional.

I want to say Clemson and South Carolina have both played in a regional and super.

Yeah, I just pulled up 2010 SRs randomly:

Miami/UF - rivalry
UCLA/CSF - west coast rivalry
Texas/TCU - big brother/little brother

Southern Miss has played in 2 Oxford Regionals... They went 2 and Q one year... Another year we beat them on day 2 and Sam Houston St knocked them out... I think.

It's so much bigger because of how valuable states baseball programs is to their fans and how long it has been since we've been to Omaha. Epic is the word

Exactly. I'd just be jealous of it being in Oxford instead of Starkville.

It would be fun if the Supers came down to that. The atmosphere would be incredible. It would be fun to watch on TV.....stupid work.

But as of right now, Ole Miss needs to focus on one game at a time. I just hope we can make it out of this Regional.

None of those, along with a SC and Clemson matchup, would come close to the intensity level of a State OM SR. My god it would be insane.
