Tier 2

Tier 4
Gus Malzahn
Mark Richt
Tier 5
Gary Pinkel
The Rest
Hugh Freeze
Dan Mullen

Who do you see currently in the top 5 Tier's of SEC coaches moving up within the ranks (Malzahn with the best chance IMO, young, innovative, and a proven winner. Les still has some gas in the tank.)? Who from "The Rest" finally does something (Wins a divisional title, at least)?

I'd have Spurrier on the same Tier as Saban. What he's done at both UF and USCe is simply amazing.

1 season and losing their bowl game puts Gus tied for 4th?

Are you talking more of a "power ranking" that is describing the coach RIGHT NOW, or is this a career ranking? Obviously that will change things up quite a bit.

I agree. First year coach can't be that good.

Winning the SEC with a roster that went winless in the conference the year before does. He should be tied with miles, probably be ahead of him after this year.

You know he wasn't the head coach in 2010 right?

At South Carolina, yes.
Looking back on it though, he underachieved with us.
