When did going out every weekend start to get old to you?

I'm 21, enterting my last year of college and it's almost time for me. Going to loud bars with shitty prices is starting to lose it's appeal I guess, not to say I despise the good stuff like getting shite faced with bros only a few blocks from the house and hitting on chicks, but I can finally see myself being content with lazy nights at home or quiet bars.

Before it even happened -- I never did that scene.

you should just find more fun things to do.
Same old bars for 3 years gets old.

You're probably just sick of the town. After you get a job and move to a new city you will start liking going out.
My body started not being able to handle 2 heavy days of drinking in a row around 28 or so. So I would say around that time.

My last year of college (22) I started drinking with my friends who lived walking distance while lwatching sports/TV much more frequently. We would still a drink a lot but we would grill and play drinking games and watch a football game/ playoff basketball/ playoff baseball or something. And if I did go to bars I started leaning more toward the laid back ones
Once I started making money after graduating I went back on a binge for a bit with a new bar scene in Houston but after I saw how much money I spent it quickly went back down. I'll usually go out on Friday nights 50% of the time now (25) and day drink late Saturday afternoon through dinner then casually drink at home or at a friends house Saturday night.

that's probably it. our bar scene is pretty good for college but i'd guess it's getting old. doesn't help that i go to the same 2-3 bars in the other cities i travel too either.

My late 20's. I moved to Atlanta after college and enjoyed the scene down here for a few years. Then just kind of switched gears after a while. I now go out with the friends about every two weeks.

One of the things that was hard for me and made me change was when I started traveling a bunch for work during the week. My only two days to get stuff like laundry and grocery shopping and other chores done were Saturday and Sunday so if I spent 2/3rd of the weekend drunk or hungover I would be totally worthless

that's pretty reasonable. i got about a month or two's worth of partying done in mexico a week ago so i don't know if this is really me talking.

Prefer to drink in restaurants or sports bars now. Hate clubs! When I go to a bar it's usually to shoot pool or see live music.

Once I started working I didnt want to go out every thursday, Friday and saturday night. I'd be so worn out even though I wanted to go out Id rather just lay on the couch and watch a movie or TV.
Me and my friends really dont even go to bars much anymore just grill out on the weekends and have some beers at somebody's house.

Around my mid-twenties, and then even more so when I had kids.

I got sick of it IN college. I remember how great it was at first and then one night I looked around whatever bar/club I was in and just thought that the whole thing was boring and stupid. The place was full of a bunch of idiots and I was the biggest one. So, I started doing other things and most of my friends started hanging out at apartments and grilling out with people or we started going other places.
I also got really tired of drinking alcohol. It made me really sleepy and I had less fun when I was drunk than when I just had a drink or two and could have good conversation with people. The whole bar scene began to frustrate me - smoke, beer, nasty girls, a lot of screaming, loud bands that weren't that good, and a ton of money.
I actually stepped away from all of that BEFORE I became serious about being a Christian just because it was no longer appealing. Becoming religious did not turn me away from that lifestyle. The lifestyle itself, filled with poseurs and wannabes and people who could not have a good time unless they were filled with alcohol turned me away from it. Later, my faith began to grow and I became serious about God. Then, I met my wife and started a family.
I remember those days well. Did it long enough. I do not miss them at all. I also don't miss waking up with a headache or stumbling around trying to remember the night before.

I'd say around 22 or 23. I'm 26 now and every time we go out (crowded bars, dancing, etc), I'm ready to go after 15 minutes.

It got old to me by my senior year of college when I was living in a house with a couple of my fraternity brothers. I couldn't reconcile going to a loud, crowded place with bad music, paying for overpriced beer and having to find a way home with the fact that we/I could just hang out at our house, drink paid-for beer, do/watch/listen to whatever we wanted, and not have to worry about getting home.
