All the Auburn athletic department has is football....

While Auburn football has once again come back as an elite program, the rest of the athletic programs at Auburn have gone in the toilet. Why have the basketball and baseball programs been so bad for so long? Auburn is literally below average to terrible in everything but football. Even the one dominant sports program (men's swimming/diving and women's swimming/diving) has faded some. Does it bother you guys that you don't have a well rounded athletic program like Florida, LSU, Alabama, Georgia, etc? I can't imagine following a program that may as well be non existant once football season ends. Auburn can't seem to make the postseason in anything other than football. Why?
P.S. You guys took a huge step by hiring an excellent basketball, softball, and baseball coach but man you guys have sucked in everything other than football and swimming for a long time.

I'm honestly curious why Auburn is so bad. They've almost always sucked in basketball but they use to be really solid if not very good in women's basketball, baseball, men's golf, women's golf, etc. They were incredibly dominant in men's and women's swimming too. Now they're either mediocre at best or downright suck at everything other than football. What happened?

This reminds me of everybody getting their last licks in on Tennessee football cause they know things are about to cycle back. Auburn will be whompin Alabama in basketball in the very near future.

DOMINANT men's golf, gymnastics, and softball and very good women's golf and women's tennis. Baseball has been respectable and men's basketball has been a borderline NCAA tourney team. Alabama's athletic department has never been as deeply successful as it has been the last few years.

No one really cares about those sports. It's Football, Men's Basketball and Baseball. Which of those three y'all only have one worth a damn just like Auburn.
I understand what you're getting at with this thread but the LOL here is that this is coming from a poster representing a school that literally wouldn't give two shits if Bama never won another game in any sport as long as their football team is competitive.

Let me guess, you're with family for Memorial Day sitting on the dock having a drunk conversation with your Auburn cousin and you're pissed because he made you realize that Saban is past his peak while Malzahn is just getting started and will have Auburn near the top for several more years and you just can't stand it, so this is all you have to fall back on.
