Kinda weird to see Aggie, Texas, and Rice all paired together. You Aggies excited or pissed about this regional?

This. Rice comes in 2nd. Until other teams come close to the accomplishments, UT will be considered the "premier" program. There are some good teams but no one has that resume.

It changes pretty regularly. The teams that are always mixin' it up during Regionals are Rice, TCU, Texas A&M, UTex, and occasionally Baylor.
Because so much more parity exists in baseball (vs football and hoops), it's not at all unusual for some of our smaller, scrappy Texas schools to put together some very decent squads each year as well (e.g., Houston, UT-San Antonio, Sam Houston, Dallas Baptist, Texas Tech, Lamar, Texas State, Texas-Arlington, A&M-Corpus Christi, Houston Baptist, Stephen F. Austin, Texas Southern, Abilene Christian, Prairie View A&M).
Any one of those teams can (and has) give us bigtime headaches on Tuesday nights.

Texas and Rice are ahead of TCU and this is coming from a TCU grad
TCU pretty much sacrificed its basketball program to prop up its baseball program for some odd reason. Set back men's basketball for 15 years.
Baseball has gotten a new stadium and multiple facility/stadium upgrades while basketball hasn't gotten jack shite despite the coaches begging for upgrades. TCU decided to invest in baseball instead of basketball(why, I don't know). Finally moving to the Big 12 we finally decide to upgrade our facilities/arena for basketball.

Historically it's still Texas. The last few years it's been Rice or TCU.

Tough draw but we were going to be a 3 just a about anywhere.
I think it will be fun. College Baseball is a different animal and all of the other bullshite gets distilled away on the diamond.

Nah
Rice hasn't been to the CWS since 2008. TCU did make it in 2010, but that's their only trip ever.
Texas has been to the CWS in 2000, 02, 03, 04, 05, 09, 11. Rice won their lone national title in 2003, while Texas has won a national title in 2002 and 2005.
So basically, it's still UT then everyone else.

Texas is easily first but I've got to say that Rice is widely respected as a heck of a ball club.

I'm talking the last three or four years, basically the last recruiting cycle. They didn't make a regional two years in a row but made the CWS in 11. There really isn't a cut and dry answer in that time period.
No doubt over the entire program history they are still a clear number one though
