Folks like to forget that LSU had one and a half games rained out that we had a great shot of winning (a tie with GA/full home game with Bama rained out) We win those two we win the West since we won the series on the road vs OM

Probably because he didn't ask a question.
But to 'answer' his not-question. We have never done well in the SEC tournament ever. There was a pretty good article on our rivals site about how inept we historically are. It was in reference to how it rarely mattered to us, especially under Tanner, but this year we would've served us well to do something in the tournament this year for the sake of the national seed, but it never came to pass.
Our contrasting performances in the SEC tournament and the NCAA tournament are so night and day it's rather remarkable. For God's sake we have 1 SEC tournament title under Tanner but 2 national titles and 2 more finals appearances for example.
Essentially as a Gamecock baseball fan I've learned to expect nothing in that tournamnet.
