Bored.

Obviously we all want guys with injuries to return. But what headlines do you guys hope to see out of camp?

I'll go first:

"Freshman McKenzie wows players, coaches."

Honestly? None. I don't want any headlines other than your boring ol' coachspeak.

Freak Plane Crash Sets Off Massive Explosion and Kills EVERY Elected Official and Judicial Appointee in Washington DC

Would it be too much to ask for if I wanted every federal judge to also be in town for some kind of meeting on the same day??

"Mason in sync with receivers, deep ball looks good"

Mason's deep throws concern me. When our offense is rolling, we get our big plays out of the I-formation on play action bombs, for the most part. Realistically, we will need to win a shootout or two this season, and that won't happen unless Mason is really good. Another one I would like to see, speaking along these lines....

Based on the interviews on 680 Bulldog Round Table during Spring Practice, several players called out Rumph as being the best receiver on the team, the one line that sticks out to me by another player, don't remember who, was that he's the kind of receiver you just throw it in his general vicinity and he will go up and get it, out manning pretty much anyone in the secondary with athleticism and great hands, stretch, etc.

If Mason has a receiver like that, that he's confident in, an AJ Green type of receiver, then I don't even know how perfectly accurate he needs to be on the long ball. Sort of like Mike Evans would just go up and take a ball out of the air while double covered, when Johnny would just air it out. Hopefully Rumph will be that guy for us.

I remember hearing all the Rumph hype last season too. I'm not buying in this year until I see it, but man it would be nice.

We haven't had a receiver like that in a while.

I laughed out loud.

But seriously, I feel like Marlon Brown was finally becoming that type of receiver before that ACL tear.
