Joe Hamilton was a great player out of Monk's Corner (Alvin, SC), coached by a friend of mine Jerry Brown who also coached a ton of other big-named players over the years, most recently Bruce and Andre Ellington. (Courtney Brown was another one, of many. I think Rusty Williams came out of Timberland as well maybe?)

Long overdue. Probably the greatest all-around athlete I ever saw play the college game in person. Should have won the Heisman. The guy could completely take over a football game. He'd already be a NFL Hall of Famer if not for the neck injury cutting his career short.

After reading about his kids, they doing just fine with out a will. Putting Seven kids through college probably took his whole net worth
