I'm flying to Dallas this weekend to see a buddy from college and family. I'm a first time flier so any need to knows, do's and don'ts, or suggestions would be much appreciated.

(I have been to over 40 of the 50 states, so please no poor references RG , I've just never flown)

Touring the new Texas Stadium (Been to the old one for about ~10 games, haven't been to this one yet), playing the Dallas Cowboys Golf Course in Grapevine both on Friday, and going to the Colonial tournament Saturday. Other than that I don't have many plans so feel free to insert suggestions about eateries, bars and whatnot as well.

Spending most of my time in Frisco/McKinney, but will be in the city with my buddy for a couple nights too.

TIA for the help OTB.

Umm.....

Unless you're in first class, , don't even think about leaning your seat back. Don't be the guy who jumps up as soon as you land to get your overhead bag either. Those people are assholes. Just use common sense and don't say bomb in the TSA line.

go to where JFK was shot and pull up the zapruder film on your phone and watch from the hill. Then walk around, I got a good meal from a bar near the basketball arena and drank some Lone Stars.

And then try to skip ahead to the front of the plane. I hate those people.

In Dallas today actually. Lot of great burger places in downtown D. You can have a good time and not leave Dallas proper.

Grapevine is a lot of fun w a cool downtown, bass pro shop, huge mall and a lot of good eateries.

If he's that kind of friend, Dallas is the strip club and breastaurant capital of the world.

If you can make a cheap ranger game, I'd go for it. I love the ball park in Arlington.

I'd stay away from any 4-5 letter words that could even possibly sound like bomb. Ive heard stories about people being deterred for hours and missing their flights for saying words like bread, book, bomb diggity, abombination, boat, boob. Really you should just stay away from any b words or any word that has a bomb sounding combination inside it. So whatever you say don't say bomb. Don't even think it!

No drugs or weapons in the airport.

unless it is just a small amount of drugs, which you can sneak through carry on. Don't put up butthole due to new scanners.

I need some drugs for when I fly. It's ridiculous how nervous I get.

Eat at Hard Eight(BBQ)...it is near you since you will be in Grapevine Friday.

There is a Top Golf on 121 that is fun and near Frisco.

If you are college age or near it, go out in Uptown Saturday night...up and down McKinney Ave has plenty of spots.

Community Brewery is open Saturday afternoon for "tours"...its by the AAC downtown.

Try a Blood and Honey by Revolver Brewery.

Frisco Rough Riders also have a home series this weekend and its in Frisco. Double A ball.

He is definitely that kind of friend. It will be a struggle for several days after the trip, I'm afraid.

I've toured the park before but never been to a game. Hope to squeeze that in also.

I think Uptown is where he had mentioned going out Saturday and Sunday night.
