Jon Rothstein ?@JonRothstein

Dayton + Arkansas will start a home + home series beginning next year in Fayetteville, source told @CBSSports. Return game in Ohio in 15-16.

That adds a quality opponent at home to go with the road games @ SMU, Clemson, and Iowa St.

Would be nice to get an invite to the Cancun Challenge and call the schedule mostly done outside of the mid/low majors it takes to complete it.

That's awesome. We're really starting to add some quality teams. We just can't play those REALLY REALLY shitty teams. That's what always screws our rpi up

As the roster has gotten better, so has the schedule.

There will likely still be some, it is a geographical issue, all the mid-200s are up north, all the mid-300s are in the south, for the most part. MAAC is better than the SWAC.

I hate the idea based on principle, but it would be better to schedule another DII team like played in the exhibition games than a team like Jackson St. as far as RPI.

It will be the first time Arkansas has faced Dayton since knocking them out of the 2nd round of the tourney in 1990.

Pretty sweet. My wife and my father in law both graduated from Dayton so that'll be a pretty fun game for us. Please don't lose Razorbacks. I won't hear the end of it.

Listening to and seeing that reminded me of Nolan and Billy Packer. Nolan never seemed too enamored with him. LINK

Yeah, what also stands out is:

Nolan's hair was still black.

Mike's hair was still present.

How deep with talent that squad was, it was more than Mayberry, Day, and Miller.

How as good of a shooter as Day was, he still used the backboard all the time.

Miller making full court inbound passes.

That is the true chaotic style that most think every Nolan/Anderson team played, and that era is why everyone thinks teams that press are "uptempo" teams.

The game had a higher score after 25 minutes of play than most games have after 40 today.

The game had a smooth, natural flow in pace.
