I mean looking at his overall totals, they look decent enough, still not enough to warrant the hype of being the QB that Ole Miss fans make him out to be.

3,346 Yds
65% Comp. Percentage
7.66 YPA
18 TD
10 Int

Like I said, not too shabby, but let's look a little further.

Vs. SEC teams, Bo had only 8 TD's to 9 Int's and his YPA drops to 7.10.

11 of his 18 totals TD's came against SE Missouri St., Idaho, Troy, and Arkansas.

When the game was tied or Ole Miss was losing by less than 7 points last year, Wallace had 2 TD's and 6 Int's and his YPA dropped even further to 6.1 yards per attempt.

I just don't see the optimism with this guy.

You would go crazy too if your most recent QBs were Brent Schaeffer, Jevan Snead, Nathan Stanley, Zac Stoudt and Randall Mackey.

Knowing what play is coming usually affects a QBs numbers, guy.

What hype is he getting from Ole Miss fans? I don't understand the point of this thread.

Most of the optimism comes from the fact that he is the most experienced QB in the league. He also made better decisions compared to year one and did so with a fricked up shoulder. The optimism is there because if he continues to improve in decision making as most QB's do from year to year as he did from year one to two, and his shoulder is healed, then he should have his best year yet. Bo had better SEC stats than any returning QB in the west so while its the best of the bad kind of deal, on paper, he is the best.

He's wanting everyone to tell him that "yeah man bro sucks and has long ghey hair and bama D is best evar n shite" so he can worry less about their trip to Oxford.

WTF are you talking about? What OM fans are acting like this guy is a badass?

He's not awful but he is sporadic and will make total dickhead decisions. He honestly had a much improved 2nd season as the starter but then totally spray-shite the bed in Starkville and cost us the game in a number of ways.

In fairness, his shoulder hasnt been healthy since sept 2012 and his arm strength looked better in the spring but at this point, he is who he is.

And you're a sidewalk Bama fan who was most likely concieved at Florabama and attended UWA until college algebra "made you realize college aint for everybody."

Exactly. Yet, we're not exactly running around thumping our chests over it. Bo is a serviceable, tough, improving player. I just hope the Egg Bowl '13 Bo doesn't show up this year.

I can assure you, no one is worried about a trip to Oxford. We take your girls and beat that arse.

Damn...why is he worried. Alabama over Ole Miss is even more automatic than LSU over us.

His love for us is unmatched . I'm not talking about "Jesus" and his people. I'm talking about the LSU fan that never misses an OM thread. What a life...
