It seems as if most of you think Allen is going to step right in and keep you in the top tier of SEC teams. I will admit, Johnny was not fun to play against... but Allen is no Johnny. What are your expectations on the season (W/L)? What will Allen's numbers look like?

aTm will be a better team then their record next year. The SEC slate is brutal. It's still going to be fun to blast you guys though.

I don't think anyone has said that Allen will step in and immediately be the best of the best.
My expectations for the season: Tough to say. Anywhere from 7-5 to 9-3.
No clue yet about Allen's numbers. Kenny Hill is still very much in the mix as well.

Whoever the starter is, his numbers will very likely be very good because that's what this offense produces, and he's going to be surrounded by a ton of offensive talent. No one thinks Allen or Hill will be the equivalent of JFF, but Hill was a former 4* Gatorade POY for Texas, and everyone knows about Allen being the #1 QB in the nation last year. I'm reasonably confident that whoever wins the job will play at a high level.

Having Spavital calling plays instead of McKinney will be a sizable upgrade, too, imo. Overall, the offense will suffer a drop-off, but I don't think precipitously so. The W/L record will depend more on the performance of the defense.

No idea what to expect. If I had to guess, I would think our offense will look significantly different.

I'd expect our RBs to be involved a lot more than during the Johnny years. Would think we would include a lot more 2-5 yard routes and depend on our receivers to get some YAC. At least until either Hill or Allen start to feel more comfortable.

Our success or failure this year will depend on whether or not our craptastic defense improves. I think our O will still put up points, though not as many as last year. Our D will have to stop some teams more than 1 series per half. They were truly awful last year.

Allen will throw for like 700 yards and we won't win a game. The rant has spoken.

They better hope Allen is the real deal because it looks like Kyler is leaning Oregon with today's recent developments.

I think our offense will average around 33 points a game.

I think the defense will average around 60th in the nation.

That will be good for 8 wins, possibly 9.

Allen/Hill (whoever is the main starter) will have great looking numbers and our offense will showcase them as the frontrunners in the 2015 season Heisman race.
