Comparing the 2 rounds of SEC expansion

Fans of the original 10- which round of expansion do you feel added more to the conference
1992 - South Carolina and Arkansas
2011-12- Texas A&M and Missouri

1992 expansion was the best thing that ever happened to the SEC... changed all of college football forever (for better or worse).
in terms of the actual product on the field, there is no question 2012... A&M with JFF and Mizzou winning the east and finishing in the top 5.... Ark was a doormat for most of the 90s... and SCe was a doormat until they hired spurrier.

Arkansas had a terrible decade in the 90's but still won their division in year 3 and were a Stoerner fumble from possibly playing for it all in 1998.
In other sports, Arkansas won a national title in basketball in year two.
Also, it took South Carolina a while, but they're well worth their weight just for their baseball program.

That's not really a fair comparison since 1st has 22 years to show it's worth; while the 2nd is starting year #3.
