23. Barrett Jones, OL, Alabama (2009-12) No offensive lineman during the BCS Era was more decorated than the Memphis native. He started at right guard and earned freshman All-American honors for the 2009 BCS champs. He slid out to left tackle by 2011 and won the Outland Trophy as the nation’s top lineman for the 2011 BCS champs. Jones then manned the pivot and won the Rimington Trophy as the nation’s top center for the 2012 BCS champs. The two-time consensus All-American won three national titles at three different positions.

The List seems to be all over the place IMO. Is it based on college success, NFL success, or a combination of the two?

Any list without the honey badger is suspect! I don't care about him getting kicked off the team. That isnt in the criteria for this list. He changed games and momentum single handidly!

Weird list, some of it is based on body of work, some of it is based on college talent.

Vince Young being #1 and Cam newton being #53 or whatever is crazy.

VY was amazing but Cam was Just as amazing

Thats all you need to know to know list won't be worth reading. They favor certain schools more than ESPN. Now if they made one that ranks which schools Athlon favors most, it might be worth reading.

That is horrendously bad. Like for real, one of the worst ranking lists I've ever seen in my life.
