13-0 and 10-0. Have a chance to salvage the sweep this afternoon.

Does this put us on the wrong side of the bubble if we lose?

I think we're 10-18-1... Auburn is 10-19, so we have a 1/2 game lead...

If Auburn loses to LSU we're in no matter what... If AU beats LSU we gotta beat UK for the 12th & final SEC Tourney spot...

Our team is obviously not very good so honestly I don't see that it matters much whether we make it to the tourney or not. Hopefully Stricklin can get things back on track recruiting his players.

I'm talking more for the NCAA tourney than the SEC tourney.

And daves...I think making the tournament would be good for recruiting

Man like a week ago we were saying we were on the bubble. Our record sucks but I think our SOS was like 2 and we've beaten some good teams.

Granted I don't know shite about college baseball but it seemed reasonable after the USCe series.

I don't see it. We've beaten some good teams, we've also lost to a lot of them.

While I agree, I think Stricklin selling recruits on a revived future state for UGA baseball will hopefully attract the kind of players we need to make a difference.

1) It's Stricklin
2) The best way to recruit for the future of Georgia baseball is to show you as a coach are capable of winning and what better way to show it than going as far as you can with a lesser roster

Not wanting them or caring about them making it is foolish

Final I think. So we're in the SEC Tourney now? Not that we'll last long but I guess it's progress.

If we won for sure we're in. We're also in with an AU loss, which they're down 8-1 in the 8th right now.

Were in. Looks like we get the 12 seed since Tennessee pulled the upset today

Thanks for the correction.

I agree it's a positive. I don't agree that it will be a deciding factor for any recruit making a decision to come to Georgia. And if they get blown out in the first playoff game then it will simply suggest that they were undeserving.

Fortunately no one said that.
