when you can listen to them for free on kzne.com?
not asking there b/c it would probably be deleted

I never listen live, so there's that. The taped show cuts out all the commercial breaks and, of course, you can skip stuff you don't care about or back up to things you missed for a coffee break.

its not all that hard to move my wrist a quarter of an inch while clicking on the timeline with the mouse.

Because their sheep are too dumb to realize that?

Didn't know that. I guessed the kzne thing was on your phone and live only.

Because half the regular posters on Premium think they're supporting a good Aggie cause by paying for anything Billy & Co. put out.

pretty much this. Half the shite they mark premium is public info. They often tease stuff on twitter like "A&M offers a LB (premium)..." half an hour after a kid posts on his own twitter that we offered him.
I saw a premium tease a while back about the A&M baseball rotation being shuffled. But there was a 2-day old thread on the TA Baseball board discussing the change. I think some of their customers don't even read the free content on their own site.
I suppose they are paying for information aggregation and for some that's probably worth it. But I just hate the business model tbh

yea sometimes it reminds me of the ESPN.com insider scam where they tease all this great info and then half of it ends up being either links to other news sources or stuff that is straight up plagiarized from twitter/competitors/etc that I can already get for free w/a simple Google search.

BUMP. I already mentioned I never listen live, but today I wish I did. I like Gabe... or at least I try to. But sometimes I think he has no clue. Today he kept describing people as "red arse" on live radio. I so badly wanted to call in and ask him if he had any idea where the term came from. I'm sure he doesn't, but he would have then felt compelled to ask. I'd have been watching the live video and seen his head turn purple.
I imagine most younger than me (IOW everybody) may not have firsthand knowledge of the origin, either, but you can figure it out without too much trouble.

That would have been radio gold

Fortunately my knowledge of the origin isn't firsthand

Hint: it has to do with an axe-handle.
Also, there's a fine line between red arse and dumb arse. ****** posters often take a running leap over that line.

I don't think this is specifically a Texags thing. I would guess there are a LOT of younger Aggies touting somebody or something being "red arse" and not having one clue.
FWIW, when I was in a position to do something about it I tried to shut that crap down within our company. I'm sure I failed completely. It sure wasn't something you'd want mamas to know about. But the fact that it existed, as long as that knowledge was kept in-house, to me is a lot different than Gabe blurting it out across the airwaves.

Damn it, I don't want to ask the stupid question, but here it goes anyways.
So what/where exactly does Red arse come from and what was its original meaning?
