So the reporter asks about how Alabama recruited a player while he was still at LSY? I'd say he took it easy on that reporter.

A reporter asks Saban, the self-declared king of college football about the recruiting process. Why would Saban know what Alabama offered Pat White? But, LSU was recruiting Pat White at the time and he could have spoken to the process, since he is the expert and everything and since he goes on ESPN every chance he gets to talk about the game.

He could have just answered it. Instead, he got defensive which tells me that he was probably offering stuff when he was at LSU and he is dirty now.

That is what Saban does. He blows up if he thinks he is being challenged. But, you are right. A sane person would not think that the question had anything to do with him at all. He could have answered objectively about recruiting.

Now, he doesn't want to talk about recruiting when it is all he wants to talk about at other times? Ok. Whatever.
