Cooper has NFL written all over him. Good size, good speed, good hands, and a GREAT route runner.

Also, he has remained relatively healthy and doesn't have a ton of mileage on the tires.

I wouldn't make that bet with my nuts, but your nuts are your nuts.

You would have been better just posting your own thoughts instead of using McShay's draft pick list. Dude is terrible. I wish I had his job security as much as he gets shite wrong and by wrong I mean dead wrong

FWIW, that list is hilarious, simply because Jalen Mills is our 3rd or 4th best DB and has no shot of making the 1st round.

Its so stupid for these people to make mocks this early. I bet 80% of those players don't go in the 1st in the actual draft.

Cooper has been one of the top three recievers in this league since his freshman year. I'd be shocked if he fell out of the first round.

That's unfortunate for your left nut. Haven't seen him projected anywhere but the 1st.

He should have been ours. frick Lane Kiffin for stealing him from us

quote:

2. Cleveland Browns (6-10): Amari Cooper*, WR, Alabama

Amari Cooper is good and I wouldn't be shocked seeing him a 1st RD guy but considering injury history/inconsistent top end production plus his athleticism not being a Sammy Watkins level guy, no way he is top 5

quote:

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9): Marcus Mariota*, QB, Oregon

He is going to fall like BridgeH20

quote:

10. Cleveland Browns (from Buffalo Bills): Landon Collins*, S, Alabama

Safeties don't get drafted high but I think Collins has the talent to get here or higher. I see him above Amari Cooper

15. Houston Texans (8-8): Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor

This is a fricking joke

quote:

30. Seattle Seahawks (10-6): Todd Gurley*, RB, Georgia

He needs both a dominant but more importantly healthy year. No way a team is risking a 1st round pick on a RB who misses at least 1/3 of his college games with leg injuries

Better to lop it off now and give yourself some time to heal up. If Coker is anywhere as decent as Chest McTatts, AC will go in the 1st.

Amari's production is only slightly off of Sammy's at this point in his career and Sammy played in a much more receiver friendly offense. He was also injured in his sophomore season like Amari and missed 3 games.

As for athleticism, Amari ran a faster 40 at Alabama's pro day than Sammy ran at the combine and even if you add .1 sec to his time (due to the fact hand timers are usually generous) he still clocks in at the same time as Watkins.
