That's really judgmental.

Her body image doesn't make her any less human thus any less attractive. I'm on the side, that us men need to stop leaning our own insecurities on the opposite gender.

I think that whether we want to admit it or not, a fit body is better in every single perceivable way. For obvious reasons.

That after pic kind of looks like what Mrs Spleen looked like after she birthed both of our kids. She lost the baby weight pretty quickly though.

I think we first need to work on our pre-conceived notion that women who are overweight(or show signs of high bodyfat such as large stomach/legs/cellulite) are not attractive.

They are attractive, we've just been conditioned from television, magazines, and video games to believe that a skinnier frame is in fact healthier.

From an evolutionary standpoint, we should be more attracted to larger, obese women, since their bodies would be more capable for childbirthing and storing food. Plus, larger women provide more insulation and heat generation which was crucial in our first days on this planet.

A thousand trolls will respond to this, but here goes my best shot at a sincere answer.

1.) I think some people just naturally carry more fat than others. Everyone has a different body type and we're not all meant to look the same. We're not meant to match whatever ideal society has developed for how a "perfect" human being looks. What makes humans beautiful is our vast array of differences. We shouldn't strive to look all the fricking same. Society's ideals place unrealistic standards for girls AND boys that are impossible for everyone to obtain. It's unhealthy.

2.) That being said, it's not ok to be a fat, lazy POS. 30 minutes of exercise a day will keep an average human being in good health. Not eating cheeseburgers or piles of fatty foods for every fricking meal will keep an average human in good health. Just like we shouldn't idealize skinny, super fit people, we should not idealize obese, lazy people. The answer to the idolization of unrealistic body standards is NOT to say "fat is beautiful" and "eat what you want".

People need to be able to find a healthy medium between these two extremes.

The woman in the video is probably a perfectly healthy human being. If that's the case, then good for her. Confidence in her body will make her sexier than if she was to be as skinny as she was in the "before" picture when she was still miserable.

The key is finding a lifestyle that is healthy and makes you happy. Whatever body type you end up with then is where you need to be.

While I think fat people should care enough about themselves to want to get in shape for health purposes, I do think women should feel comfortable in their own skin.

For example my mother is 5'1", and the most she has ever weighed in her life was 115 lbs when she was pregnant with me. I'm 5'7", so no matter what I do, I can't be that, so it's about trying to make the best out of what I have.

I also have two girls, and I want them to grow up with a healthy self image, so I understand the message this person is trying to convey.

And this is the first time I've responded seriously to one of your threads.
