I think he has kinda been going a little overboard lately with voicing his opinion front and center on every topic of discussion that comes up. However, I do agree with him on this one.

You do realize he is asked these things by reporters? Its not like hes calling a press conference to announce every time he has a thought

Poor college football. Having to bend to Nick Saban's will.

Nick Saban has more opinions than Lebron James.

Saban scared of bowl committees selecting their own teams.

I understand what you saying but if he does not want it put(which he must) on the front page of every sporting source out there then why not just say, no comment. Are they holding a gun to his head?

I like the idea of a selection committee for bowls, particularly if it would get rid of some of these conference bowl tie-ins.

The SEC plays the Big 10 too much. Who is excited to see Georgia and Nebraska play for the third year in a row?

Would like more games with the Pac 12 in particular. SEC and Pac 12 are probably the two best conferences now.

He was asked a question. He gave an answer. I think he makes a good point. You have a lot of teams that play 4 shite games and only have to win 2 conference games in order to make a bowl. Mediocrity shouldn't be rewarded.

Better bowl selection = safety for players. Win win situation.

That is true. But it's not just saban. The media does this to Miles as well, sometimes recording without his knowledge (alabama quote at the 'closed' Bayou Recruiting Bash, 'chest' quote on Gunner Kiel, etc.)

Most of the time he is solicited by a reporter, he's not just volunteering his opinion.

He has some good ideas. The one 'big issue' I've liked the most so far is concerning the big money in CFB and player pay. He said a better job needs to be done giving PR to how much is spent not only for scholarship but also player development, academic assistance and other things to assist the athlete for preparation after graduation.

A lot of what he says probably comes from Slive. He can say things Slive cannot.

The SEC, with minimal exceptions, owns the Big 10 too much.

who said he doesn't want his opinion know on the subject? but its not like hes writing articles or calling press conferences. a reported asks him his opinion and he says what he thinks. its other people that make a big deal about it
