Coolest personality on TV, with insightful and well rounded perspectives on everything.

Sunday night, 8pm Central and again at 11 for the poors without a recording device.

He'll undoubtably tackle the Southern Thing, food, culture, economics, ect.

How so?

He digs into the social/economic issues of each place he goes.

Digs into their culture and food.

Each location has very different issues and culture, so I don't see how each episode can be the same.

If anything its the opposite. He left the travel channel because they were telling him what to do. CNN told him he can do anything he wants.

I know Andrew Zimmern filmed an episode there recently, I didn't realize Bourdain did too.

Yes it was.

Some classic episodes in that collection.

He canoed down the Ms river? What an idiot I've had whirlpools spin my ski boat around on that river. I've seen entire trees disappear under water and shoot up 300 yards down.... That's dangerous as hell to do that river can suck you under real fast.

I'm sure he did it with a guide and when the river was low and didn't go very far.

I'm looking forward to the segment in this tiny little shack of a bar that's in the middle of nowhere.

Bourdain has the best gig on TV. He won't do the typical condescending carp that mist shows do when they do a show in a place like Mississippi.

Don't be so sure. The way he has spoken/acted when visiting post-colonial Sub-Saharan Africa is 100% condescending.

Bourdain is an arrogant shite, and I used to watch his show often. He's got a great gig, but he's just too smug for me to watch anymore.
