Has another sec team ever got their arse beat worse than A&M's 77-0 nsfw game vs oklahoma?

Mizzou lost to OU 77-0 as well in the Norman Conquest.....from Dennis Dodd a few years back:
quote:
At halftime of the infamous "Norman Conquest" (77-0) in 1986 at Oklahoma, former Sooners assistant Jim Donnan recalls walking down from the press box behind a couple of Missouri defensive assistants. "I think we'll be all right if we widen the ends a little bit," Donnan remembers one saying. That's not the most laughable thing. After the worst loss in school history, Missouri coach Woody Widenhofer said, "There was no attempt at all to run up the score."

The aggies brought up Mizzou losing some game 70-6 recently.
ETA: damn, nvm, they got 77-0'd too

Arkansas got beat by OU 103-0 in 1918 so that should be your winner

Called after 6 innings. 6 inning no hitter. 27-0. Two grand slams, two players with 8 RBI. Bregman had a grand slam and 3 run homer. Jesus. Too bad we don't face that kind of pitching on the sec.

Yea. Not even close
Given the magnitude of that game, the build up to it and the way in which it played out it was definitely one of the biggest, most dramatic beatdowns in history.

Roger.... 77-0.
seventy seven to zero.
OU had what would be considered a high basketball score, and aTm had a losing baseball score.

24-0. That's the kinda score you would see during the gorilla ball days. I do remember Alabama having to sweep LSU in 1997 to win the SEC regular season title. Alabama won the first game and then won the second game 28-2. LSU however won the 3rd game to win the regular season title. That was also the year LSU beat Alabama in the CWS title game too.

The Game that should have never happened

But yea, nothing will ever beat 21-0

Damn we made sportscenter. With a midweek game. That's pretty funny.

Only if you are more obsessed with LSU than your own team

Not only did LSU win 27-0, but they threw a no hitter... Jesus

But at least we still made it to the NC game, plus won a couple others. It's great to be a fan of a school that can say that, unlike a fan of a team who never even made a BCSNC. Maybe the playoffs will be kinder to your school, but I have my doubts.
