With LSU's AD stating that he sees beer being sold in Tiger Stadium in 5 or so yrs, he commented further that it is an SEC rule against it now. Which school would be the best guess to sell it first? The feeling is, apparently, once one team does it, the dam will burst & all will join in for the additional revenue beer sales will bring in. Which school will be the last?

I would say LSU would be the first and Vandy would be last.

Won't matter to me. I'll still sneak in my own when possible.

Who wants to pay 6-8 bucks for a beer?

Yeah, beer is available in certain sections of many stadiums in the SEC currently.

It is not available to those with a "general admission" ticket.

It's an SEC rule? Always thought it was an NCAA rule. Do other conferences sell beer? Only OOC venue I've been to that wasn't in a pro stadium has been Clemson and Memphis (Liberty Bowl) and I don't recall either selling beer.

It's sold at most bowl games so it's probably not a NCAA rule.

Wisconsin is only on campus stadium selling beer. Or at one time it was the only one.

Who ever plays at home first, once sec approves.
It's no longer an NCAA rule, WVU, Iowa State, and Texas ) I think) allow it.

The last 4 bowl games Ole Miss has been to they have sold out beer in the stadium. Including the Cotton Bowl and Jerry World.

I figured that's because so many bowl games are played at pro stadiums / city owned stadiums in which the NCAA has no jurisdiction over.

With the Busch family being a donator to the university, I'm sure they would be all over pushing a situation where they would be the sole beer provider to the stadium.
