He may very well be. The difference is that those around Chubb will be the same size or bigger where as HW was as big as some lineman or bigger.

10.9 is just average.

Please God do yourselves a favor and stop mentioning this guys name in the same sentence as Hershel!

Hershel was world class...this guy got 5th in that high school race.

He'll need that 40" vert to see over the OL

Please God learn how to spell his name.

Um, what? He's 5'11. That's generally pretty tall as far as RB's are concerned.

How tall was Walker again?...yea, thanks for stopping by.

Look, Im sure he did well in high school and is a solid player, but to listen to a shorter slower kid be compared to HW just because he signed with Georgia is simply moronic.

It looks as though he is one of those types that matured very soon (muscle growth) and may not have that high of a ceiling left. I doubt he gets taller/faster

No one is saying he's going to be as good as Herschel. It's just when RBs sign with Georgia, people are going to bring that up since he's by far the most well know UGA RB.

Kid is a good back. Not as athletic as Gurley, but solid. People should stop drawing so many conclusions from a picture.

Chubb is already being compared to one of the greatest college running backs ever, who just so happened to play for Georgia:

Bingo.

Mario Fannin looked world class with the pads off. Hell, he ran a 4.38 & had a 37.5" vertical @ 231 lbs at the combine (2nd & 5th that year for RBs).

He was nothing but an average to below-average RB/HB in the SEC.

It's a freaking bleacher report article. In the comparison the writer is referencing, the UGA writer is very careful to say that Chubb most likely is not the next Herschel.

He only said that the picture looks similar, which it does

Agree to disagree to a point...point being, they could have used a track picture of 30 Georgia running backs since HW..they didn't, they used HW's after talking about the comparison in the article.

BR is a joke at times, and this is one of them.

For real. That's an insane vert for a guy with his build.

But to compare him to Herschel before taking one handoff?

What does Walker have to do with anything? You said have fun seeing over that line or something like that. He's a tall running back and he doesn't have to see OVER the line. He just has to see the holes, dumbfrick.
