What if Les Miles had went to Bama in 2003?

Where would LSU and Bama be at today?
If you didn't know, Mal Moore was interested in bringing him in from OSU after Denny went to aTm and before Mikey had a coke run on some stripper.

He'd be the Head Coach at Michigan since 2008

No Miles at LSU?
No Saban at Bama?
Alabama and LSU would both be worse than they are now.

that's a good question. I imagine in that case we hire Petrino in 2004 and he bolts for the NFL a few years later. Saban comes back to LSU in 2007 or so.

He'd go back NOW if LSU would have him. But, lucky for Bama, they prefer Miles.

Why do you believe that?

Why?
I was just kidding.
I could have seen him going back to LSU if the job was open in 2007 and they made him the right offer though.

I don't, it was a stupid joke.

I was reading the wiki page after correcting some idiot about Alabama not having a black starting QB and stumbled upon the 2003 season.
Miles might have had a chance for the crystal in 2005.

Probably. Miles is a hell of a coach.

then Les would have his own statue outside of BDS.
Could you imagine a statue of Les doin the "Les clap" or perhaps eating a piece of grass?

Bama would be good, but not to the caliber that they have been.
Saban left LSU in such a good position, LSU would have been just as good without Miles. The talent in Louisiana for the past ten years has been through the roof. With that being said, Miles has done a great job.
I don't know if Saban would have ever come back to LSU. Whoever LSU would have hired would have been succesful, IMO.

Nah the finger in the ear gif as a statue would be the most fitting.

Doesn't Les pretend like he is leaving LSU every year just so he can get a raise? How long would Bama fans put up with that bullshite?

HAHA HE DID GO TO BAMA, HE DID.
So everything would be the exact same it is today, I'd guess.
