He made a comment a while back that not any of those players were part of this team. Any speculation of who he was talking about. Of course one is the RB but he was not even a contributor. And my guess is there was more than one player

My guess is he was talking about guys like Kenyon Drake, Eddie Jackson, and some of the freshmen. Another guess is Adrian Hubbard.

two of those are part of this year's team. He inferred that they were not part of this years team. Hubbard and Kamara are two that come to mind

He said they weren't on the field. I didn't see where he said they are no longer on the team but I could've missed it.

It seems like AJ was a large part of the attitude problem on last year's team.

I guess he never grew up.

Somehow the team was able to overcome AJs attitude to win it all in 09, 11, and 12

Yeah I don't think AJs attitude was the problem

Plus CNS said the guys on the team with attitude problems weren't on the field

well, those teams all had a bunch of leaders other than aj on them on offense, and you saw what happened in the 2012 BCS championship when aj started trying to assert his leadership, he pissed off one of the nicest guys in the world, Barrett Jones, enough to push him on national television. in 2013 aj was in a major leadership role pretty much by himself on offense, and it seems he wasnt great at it. also, aj had pretty much nothing to do with 09

I don't claim insider status but like most people, I occasionally hear stuff. From what I was told back in late September, there were a lot of issues among the younger guys and if we had dropped a game early on, the season easily could've gone off the rails (relatively speaking of course).

We have all learned that there was just a lot of entitlement among the younger guys and we didn't have the leadership from the upperclassmen. It seems like that has changed.

Those teams also had much better defenses, reliable FG kickers, and RBs that almost never fumbled. Not sure how we can attribute those shortcomings to AJs leadership style

From what I've seen, AJ us the type of player who is hard on his teammates especially when they mess up. I have no doubt this caused him to be disliked by some teammates.

But I'll also say that the more AJ speaks the more people he rubs the wrong way and the more difficult it gets to defend him

I think he just needs to shut up and get to work. He did a lot for UA and will go down in history as the arguably the most accomplished QB we've ever had. However, I feel that a lot of people are just in AJ overload. We're tired of hearing about the chip on his shoulder. We're tired of all the Katherine Webb stuff. He hasn't done much over the last few months to earn a lot of goodwill.
