There's really only three worth talking about, I wanted to write up something on each of them, but these seem to be the only ones worth mentioning. Feel free to nominate other qb suggestions for the non-obvious ones.

And this is in no particular order or ranking...

USC's Dylan Thompson

Through his junior year, he's played intermittently over the last 3 seasons, with his best performance against Clemson in 2012. Outside of that game, he has struggled. Thompson's completion percentage of 52% in 2012 and 58% in 2013 illustrates this. In his defense, the bulk of his stats for 2013 come from very tough road games against UCF and Missouri. Most quarterbacks struggled against Missouri last year, with a powerful secondary and the one-two punch of Michael Sam and Kony Ealy.

Playing behind a veteran line in 2014, Thompson still has Davis behind him and some good receivers returning. If Spurrier can get him dialed in, and find the Thompson that laid waste to Clemson in 2012, Thompson could end up getting Heisman talk by mid-season. We know the ability is somewhere in him.

UGA's Hutson Mason

5th year senior, Murray's backup since 2012, reported to have been practicing with the 1st team the whole time. He's been the Man in the Headphones between Murray and Bobo, knows the offense inside and out.

Only starting two games, the final two, vs Georgia Tech and Nebraska, Mason threw for 299 and 320, respectively. At that pace, over a 12 game regular season, he's on track to break 3700 yards, and break 4000 with a bowl game or SECC. Mason also had playing time against App St and Kentucky, averaging a 68.60% completion rate on a combined 35 attempts.

Proving he's ready to play big boy football in his first start on the road against Tech, Mason led the team back from a 20 point deficit, took it to overtime, and won. There's nothing eye-popping or elite about his ability, but all he has to do is get the ball into the hands of his play makers and Hutson Mason should do just fine.

Mizzou's Maty Mauk

As a freshman, Mauk was thrown into the fire as a starting quarterback in the SEC after starter James Franklin separated his shoulder in the Georgia game. As most freshmen do, he struggled. He started against Florida, Carolina, Tenn, and UK. His completion percentages, respectively, were 50, 40, 48, and 60. As soon as Franklin was healthy enough to play, Mauk was put back on the bench. His only good stat is 11 TD's to only 2 INT's.

He throws a pretty ball, and if Pinkel can work some magic with Mauk's accuracy, we'll see a much more dangerous quarterback in 2014. The biggest leap in a quarterback's stats generally happens between freshman and sophomore years. Mauk may not get much help though, with the departure of Josey and the presumed departure of Dorial Green-Beckham.

Florida- ETA: Murphy transferred, new OC, Driskel should be healthy, but is early enrollee Will Grier making a push for playing time?

Tennessee- Who will be your quarterback?

Vandy- Who will be your quarterback?

Kentucky- Who will be your quarterback?

I missed the news that Murphy transferred in January. So I guess Driskel is probably going to be the starter then.

However, with a new OC and a few other qb's on the roster, and Driskel's mediocrity in 2012, there shouldn't really be any surprise if he doesnt start.

Grier is an early enrollee, very highly rated 4-star already practicing with the team. He was ranked the 2nd best pro style qb prospect in the country by the 247 composite.

Thompson will need to work on his decision making. But man he can throw a pretty nice ball when he's on point.

We don't know, don't think the coaches know. Probably whoever looks best August 31 among Worley, Dobbs and Ferguson

Worley is the worst physically, but is a veteran and makes the smart play *most* of the time.

Ferguson is easily the most talented and has tremendous upside. He had a good spring, but makes too many mistakes in redzone.

Dobbs had a horrible spring until the spring game, in which he dominated.

So, who knows

Patrick Towles. 4* guy coming out of HS (Ft. Thomas Highlands, KY). Dealt with some injuries last season and struggled his freshman year with getting up to the speed of the game. He looked good in the spring game. He's nothing flashy but he looks the part of starting SEC QB right now and Stoops has brought in enough playmakers around him that the offense should be in decent shape this season.

Drew Barker could snag the job from him next season but he was just inconsistent enough in the spring that he's not ready yet. He'll be a good one though.

Is Ferguson the mouth-breather or guy with no eyebrows?

Probably Patrick Towles.

Drew Barker is our QB of the future but he's just a true freshman and will likely redshirt.

ETA: Belle beat me to it.

Driskel was tailor made for Roper's offense. It's similar to Meyer's, which is what he was recruited for. Pease was a terrible fit for him.
