quote:

"First of all, (the) University of Georgia is a great school and I would like to thank Coach Richt and his staff for the opportunity to play at Georgia. When you are new to an organization, it’s extremely important to have the right fit. I love football and want to reach my highest potential. Therefore, after careful thought and much consideration, I believe that it is in the best interest of all parties that we part ways.

"I am looking for a team who will embrace my personality, someone who is a jovial, carefree and a bit of a jokester but who knows when to put jokes aside, get focused and become a true competitor, especially when on the field.

"I want to learn, and I want someone who can channel my energy and enthusiasm to take my game to the next level."

Translation: "I act like I really don't GAS and am cutting up during practice and not putting out...and I want to play for a coach that won't care about that....and help teach me how to care..."

I have no inside knowledge whatsoever but when I read that....thats what I hear...

Just throwing this in there too- You guys are crazy if you don't think that the timing of this didn't coincide with his HS teammate Jaquay Williams also looking for another place to play college football. I am willing to guarantee they end up playing football somewhere together. Be it Louisville or wherever, they will end up together.

None of this is the real reason he is leaving. Most likely he is looking for a team who will let him smoke pot and party while giving him a starting position on the field. Good luck Shaq; you're going to need a lot of it.

If this kid ends up in Louisville you have to give it up to Grantham. He's already recruiting better than he did in Athens.

Nice of him to summarize, in one short sentence, the problem with our horrendous defense last season.
