Drafting a high risk, low reward player is exactly what I thought Cleveland would do. At the absolute most the Browns could maybe get one decent season out of Manziel (a la RGIII). I wish his career didn't have to end as soon as it started but it looks like fate wasn't on his side. Just another Aggy bust I'm afraid. It's a shame to see a talent (although slight) go to waste.

More football fans will want to watch Browns games on TV.

Clevelands history of drafting QB's sucks. But from a marketing aspect Manziel is a good pick in the 1st or 2nd round for several teams. Browns made a good choice from that standpoint.

I'm no Manziel fan, but this season will be the first time in my life I'll make a point to watch Browns games.
