When you Retire:

I'm almost 31 now, and barring catastrophy, I plan on retiring before age 45 if I remain a bachelor or 50 if I get remarried and have kids.
I'm a frugal person, I don't buy toys often. For example, even though I can afford to go to almost any car dealership and write a check for a brand new vehicle, I still drive a Toyota Camry with over 260K miles on it. Till the wheels fall off baby. I just have ssimple tastes. Plus it's humorous to me that I know so many people with really nice cars that are broke.
I just go to work, bust my arse, give, save and invest way more than I spend. I also don't use credit cards, or borrow money for any reason.
My retirement dream is:
1.Large Cabin in the Smokies near a lake so I can go fishing.
2. Season tickets for UT football and basketball
3. 8 bedroom beach house that I operate as a bed and breakfast and charter fishing vacation spot during the Spring and Summer.
What is your retirement dream?
How do you plan to make it happen?
If you're already retired or living your dream, what is the one piece of advice you would give to us youngins?

Yes it is.
And more power to OP but hell no I wouldn't ever want to operate a BB out of my own home. I don't like having my friends in my place for more than a few days, no way I'd want strangers all over my house every weekend doing who knows what in my rooms.

I should retire by 45 and plan on using my cabin money on an electrical company.

I married a girl that stands to inherit a very large sum of money, so I'll be set if she doesn't leave me.
If she does, I've got a 401k and a paltry IRA to live off of. I'll have to work until I'm 7 though.

I plan to buy all the property around your large cabin in the smokies and bury radiation hazardous materials there. (Oh I forgot...you already got that in Tennessee.)

Bed and breakfast ain't no vacation. If you have any sense, cross that one off your list.
And revise the kid thing... if you have kids, you might retire by 75.

Retirement won't exist in a decade or two. You better hurry your arse up.

I wont retire until another 17 years, until lil man gets out of HS.
I would like to move to the beach or waterfront area. If possible I would also like to be able to go take lil man to Europe before he goes to college as a retirment gift to myself and a chance for him to see the historic churches of Europe.

I'll probably "retire" in about another 5 years. At that point my husband should be making enough so that I can focus on the kids' activities.
He actually makes enough now, but we're not willing to sacrifice some of the things we enjoy doing to make up for the loss of my income.

50 acres with decent home, 2 acre fishing tank and hunting.
Horny wife.
That is honest to God all I want. No fancy car, boat, big money items,

I want a small, modest home (don't think I want kids so 2 BR 2 bath should do), a lake house, and season tickets to Alabama football games. I have no clue when I'll actually get to retire. I'm 22 and just accepted my first real job.
